Why are there two days 'greyed out' prior to another reservation; can't I stay at Gate 21 right before someone else?

In short, yes you can stay right before another guest's reservation. Because of a three-night minimum requirement, those dates are greyed out because they are not available for check-in, so as long as you select your reservation to begin at least three days from the next reservation, you should be fine.

What is there to do in and around Estes Park?

Lots! Estes Park is a great town for individuals or groups. There are numerous outdoor activities depending on the season: horseback riding, boating, fishing, cycling, hiking or snowshoeing in Rocky Mountain National Park, many activiites at the YMCA of the Rockies, ghost tours at the Stanley Hotel, outdoor adventure tours, movie theaters, mini-golf, 18-holf golf, and many local shops and eateries to enjoy. To learn more about what this area has to offer, visit: www.visitestespark.com.

How large is Gate 21?

Gate 21 is on almost three acres of land surrounded by unobstructed mountain views. The house was updated in 2020 and is over 2800 square feet. It has five bedrooms with queen and king beds, four bathrooms, plus a 'bunk room' with two queen-over-queen beds. There are two separate entertaining areas, one on the main floor and one in the basement. Outdoors there is a deck that spans the east side of the house and a large south-facing flagstone patio to enjoy the view. For more information, see the about us or gallery pages.

Do you allow pets?

We are not able to accommodate pets at this time.

Are there places to purchase food or needed items during our stay?

There are two grocery stores, two pharmacy/drug stores, plus a variety of other stores in Estes Park.

Are toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, soap, toilet paper) provided?

Hand soap and lotion is provided in all sink areas. Three rolls of toilet paper are provided for you. Additional items may be purchased in town.

How do I pay for my stay at Gate 21?
Once your dates are confirmed, a final total cost (nightly rate x number of nights + cleaning fee + tax + damage deposit) will be calculated and emailed directly to the guest. Payment occurs through Venmo, PayPal, personal check, or cash. At this time payment does not occur through website. Please be aware that the price given under "Book now" is an estimate of the cost.
